Allocation pressure lands on the patient
Specialty products are frequently under allocation, on backorder, or limited to particular channels. When a prescription arrives and the product is not obtainable, the delay falls on someone who is often already mid-diagnosis or mid-treatment.
The value per unit also raises the stakes on paperwork. A high-value transfer with incomplete tracing records is its own problem.
What the platform does about it
Source hard-to-find therapies
Search by NDC for products under allocation pressure, from licensed pharmacies that currently hold them and can transfer.
Refrigerated transfers are supported
Cold chain products are not excluded. Refrigerated options appear among the live FedEx services offered at checkout, with labels generated in-platform.
A record on high-value transfers
Each transfer produces a transaction record covering lot, expiration and product identifiers, which matters most when the value at stake is highest.
Eligibility and handling responsibility
Only eligible, in-date product in sealed original containers may be listed. Controlled substances are prohibited, as are products subject to recall or regulatory restriction and products restricted under programs such as 340B. Storage and handling conditions for the product, including temperature requirements for refrigerated items, remain the responsibility of the transferring pharmacy.
How the platform handles documentationNothing to commit up front
Registration and listing are free, with no subscription and no tiers. A fee applies only when a transfer completes, so a medication that is never requested costs you nothing to have listed.
